1. The video analysis training
(Biomechanics applied to soccer)
Mauro Dr. Testa
Biomechanic
2. Why the video analysis?
The idea of using this type of investigation
comes from the need to analyze and
objectify the biomechanical point of view,
studying in a scientific way the gesture of
the high-level athlete, the amateur and
the subjects developmental.
3. Why the video analysis?
Create, on the basis of the data collected, the
training protocols individualized and targeted,
to improve the weaknesses highlighted.
4. The Protocol provides:
Test Prevention.
Strength test.
Training Ideomotor.
Test the quality of the recovery.
5. Test of Prevention
Nordic (posterior chain)
Chair (front chain)
Postural (mobility / flexibility)
Lateral dominances (left or right stronger)
Technical analysis of running, jumping,
kicking
Stability of the knee
13. Examples of postural analysis
From this analysis we can see the fees implemented by the athlete during
the lateral flexion of the trunk.
14. Tests on lateral dominances
Stand up position
Jump
Walking fast
Run
15. Technical analysis of running on a
treadmill
Angular speed
Leg bending angle and high
Step analysis
Step time
Time of the test
Step frequency
Area of center of mass
movement
Leg’s straight differences
pronation/supination evaluation
Muscular level
16.
Sample analysis in the field of
running technique
Angular speed
Leg bending angle and high
Step analysis
Step time
Time of the test
Step frequency
Area of center of mass
movement
Leg’s straight differences
pronation/supination evaluation
Muscular level
18. Test of Strength
CMJ
PLYOMETRICS
SPRINT IN LINE ON 10 MT
CoD/ CoS Change direction
Change of sense
19. Test CMJ
We can evaluate :
Proprioceptive angle (mean angle of work)
Time phase of flight
Jump height
20. PLYOMETRIC Test
We can evaluate :
Area of motor incoordination,
Time of contact with the ground
Time phase of flight
Jump height
21. Speed test for CoD/CoS
We can evaluate :
Given time lap of the test
Given time in braking and restart during Change
of Direction and Change of Sense
Measurement braking and restarting time of
reaction
Angle to the ground in the CoD / CoS
Time and balance in CoD and CoS
22. Example of analysis of the technique
in the sprint race in the 10m line
Angular speed
Leg bending angle and high
Step analysis
Step time
Time of the test
Step frequency
Area of center of mass
movement
Leg’s straight differences
pronation/supination evaluation
Muscular level
23. Sample analysis of run technique in
CoD 90 °
Angular speed
Leg bending angle and high
Step analysis
Step time
Time of the test
Step frequency
Area of center of mass
movement
Leg’s straight differences
pronation/supination evaluation
Muscular level
24. Ideomotor Training
It helps the athlete to be more aware of
where and how he moves through space by
optimizing the movement and making it more
reasonable and economical
Identifies and corrects fine details can make a
difference (postural analysis)
26. Mode of action
Objectification data tables with color-coded
Training INDIVIDUALISED enhancement or
maintenance
27. Advantages
Some tests do not require the cooperation of the athlete, this
means that we analyze in a situation of true expression of the
gesture.
Functional assessment of postural both static and dynamic.
Useful in rehabilitation, post-injury evaluation (historical data)
Method for the improvement of the technical gesture
Useful for training the youth during motor and psychological
development
Useful for training Ideomotor and motor patterns
Improving the perception of self-esteem and motivation for the
athlete to improve themself

The methodology used to prepare the soccer is
in constant evolution, new methods and
applications are always proposed but I am
convinced that thanks to THIS ROAD it is
possible to evaluate in an effective way and
constantly the athletes examined, with the
advantage of being able to test them (in certain
circumstances) without interrupting your
workout, its fluidity and intensity enforceable
