2. Sing Your Song, Shine Your Light
This week’s lesson is to understand that by
knowing your gifts and sharing them is one of
the greatest successes in life.
In Matthew 5:14, Jesus said: You are the light of
the world.
3. Unity Principles
God is
God is all good and active in everything, everywhere.
I am
I am naturally good because God's divinity is in me and
in everyone.
I think it
I create my experiences by what I choose to think and
what I feel and believe.
I pray it
Through affirmative prayer and meditation, I connect
with God and bring out the good in my life.
I live it
I do and give my best by living the Truth that I know. I
make a difference!
4. Who is Jesus for us in Unity? Our way-shower, the
great master of love.
Affirmation: I am an expression of God’s love.
Our basic heart agreements are:

Kind Words
5. Meditation
I invite you to quiet your mind and body. Make your
spine straight and begin to relax, closing your eyes. Take
a deep breath in and hold it for a moment before letting
it out. Relax your body further by taking another deep
breath in, holding, exhaling ... And one more time, take
a deep breath in, hold it and release....
6. Meditation
In your mind’s eye, see the brilliant sun shining on a
clear blue sky. Slowly, see the bright sunrays...As you
look at the sun, think about how radiant it is. It lights
and warms the earth so well that plants and animals
grow and grow.
7. Meditation continued
Remember that it takes a lot of different sunrays to
make our brilliant sun. Now notice one special sunray...
Imagine that you are that one sunray that helps make
things grow... Feel how bright and radiant you are.... No
matter what, you are always ready to shine God’s loving
warmth to the Earth.
8. Meditation continued
Now become yourself again and imagine that the sun is
really God and all the other sunrays are all the other
people, animals and things in this world... Notice how
you feel knowing that you and everyone and everything
on this planet is a part of God... And gently, gently,
come back to this time and place. When you are ready,
wiggle your fingers, and your toes, shrug your shoulders
and open your eyes. Say: Thank you God. Amen.

1. You know that as a special and unique person, you
have been given special gifts or talents, can you
name some of them?
2. What happens to your gifts or talents if you never
share them?
3. How can you use your special gifts or talents to
create a better world?
10. Pause in Silence
Let us pause for a moment in silence. We send thoughts of love
to everyone in the world.
Prayer
Dear God, thank you for this time together to learn about the
power of your presence in our lives and how we always have
access to that power in our lives. In this moment, we choose
to create a wonderful world for all. We allow our Christ light
to shine out for the world to see and speak words of love and
peace into our world. We are grateful. Thank you God. Amen.
