o I assisted in designing the major graphics included in our
Project Delivery Handbook. With the use of InDesign,
Illustrator, and Photoshop, I was able to design graphics for
our company handbook that met certain criteria and were
visually appealing.
o I used Adobe Creative Cloud to export images from our
previous projects and organized them in a way to show our
potential and previous clients what we can do and what we
have done.

o I worked with Pyramid Communications to help structure a
messaging framework for Mallet to help identify and express
the mission and goals of the company.
The Framework included:
Values, Tagline, Mission, Vision, Brand Position,
Elevator Statement, Brand Personality, Target
Audiences, Key Messages
o I worked with the Marketing team and a client of ours to
submit projects to design competitions.
Designing and creating Project Delivery Handbooks and Employee
Handbooks
One of the major tasks that I was a part of during my time at Mallet
was creating Project Delivery Handbooks and Employee
2. Handbooks. The Project Delivery Handbooks are used as both an
internal and external document to show clients how we deliver our
projects in a time-efficient and effective way. The Employee
handbook is an internal document to show current and future
employee’s the rules and guidelines of the company.
o The assembly required:
Finding images that express Mallets vision
Assembling the handbooks
Glue, Precision cutting, Designing, Punching, and
Printing
Finding the most cost-efficient way to not only
assemble the handbooks but to express the look and
feel of Mallet Inc.

On-site work
Before working with the Marketing team at Mallet I went to the job
sites to work. The On-Site work was beneficial to my time at Mallet
because I had a chance to understand how the company
operated through a hands-on experience. I had a chance to work
with the in-house carpenters at Mallet, Zeeks pizza in Lynnwood,
and Lionhead on Capitol Hill. I also had a chance to work at a
residential project in Monroe.
o My on-site work included:
Painting
Cement work
Using various power-tools
Staining
Organizing equipment
Sanding
Etc.
3. What I am interested in
After working with Mallet I have found interest in the skills I have
developed. I enjoy using Adobe Creative Cloud in a variety of ways
whether it is creating an Organizational Structure of a company or
organizing an array of images. Through my experience in Microsoft office,
I have built in interest in tasks that require Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
because of my familiarity with each program. Through my experience in
College as a marketing major, I have gained a wide variety of interested
related to my field.
