4. The Man Who Can’t Be Moved Rocketeer I have looked at the music video director Marc Klasfeld, who has directed music videos for The Script’s ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Moved’ and Far East Movement Featuring Ryan Tedder’s ‘Rocketeer’. A signifying point that I can see between the 2 videos of Marc Klasfeld is that from both music videos each one tells a story throughout the video which matches the lyrics of the song, which applies to Goodwin’s theory of music videos. ‘The Man Who Can’t Be Moved’ – “See me waiting for you on the corner of the street”, throughout the music video we see clips of Danny waiting on the corner of the street. ‘Rocketeer’ – “Got a jetpack with your name on it” & “Let’s fly”, in the ending of the music video we see the man with a jetpack on his bag trying to fly. Anti - D I also looked at other music video that Marc Klasfeld directed, he also directed ‘Anti – D’ by The Wombats. The song also tells a story throughout the music video by using Goodwin’s Theory. As Matthew walks through the street we can see people and things in the background that shows us the strange, irregular but happy things that are happening, whilst having Matthew in the middle of the shot looking depressing. This also applies to Goodwin’s theory as the lyrics match what is happening in the video.
