2. NBA stands for national basketball association. The
NBA commisioner is David Stern. NBA is a
professional basketball league and at the end of the
year there are the playoffs.
3. In the playoffs the top eight teams in each conference
go to the playoffs.
The number one seed plays the eight seed and the
number two seed plays the seventh seed and so on.
The one who wins all of their series goes to the NBA
finals and plays the winner of the other conference.

Brian Scalabrine played at university of
southern california and got drafted in the NBA
draft in 2001. He got drafted to the New
Jersey nets and played there for four years.

In All-Star weekend There are lots of activities. Such as All

to the Cleveland cavaliers

school,Then he left them to
the Miami Heat and won a

Kevin Durant plays for the
Oklahoma city Thunder. Last
year they lost to Lebron and
the Heat in the NBA
championship. This year they
are going into the tournament
as number one seed in the

10. 2013 NBA Playoffs
The 2013 NBA playoffs just
started and is almost in the
second round. Going into the
playoffs as 1st seed was the
Oklahoma City Thunder in the
west, and the Miami Heat in
the east. If the playoffs work
the way they are suppose to
they will meet in the NBA
Finals again.

Michael Jordan is considered the best player
in the NBA. He also had 6 NBA
Championships. Michael Jordan was also a
starter for the ’92 “Dream Team” in the
olympics when he led them to a gold medal.

Larry Bird played

championships. He
also played for the
’92 Dream Team.

Magic Johnson played
for the Los Angeles
Lakers from 1979-1991.
He won five NBA
Championships and
also played for the ’92
Dream Team
16. Kobe Bryant
Kobe Bryant played for
the Los Angeles Lakers
and won 5 NBA
Championships. He
didn’t play college ball
because he was so good
that he came straight
from High School.
