- Welcome, personal introduction, purpose of session to introduce the Bb LM utilizing the GTP. Don’t forget each piece must be clicked to appear as needed while speaking.
- Describe LM as the steps to provide materials normally followed in f2f classroom provides educational opportunity for students to work @ a time that suits their needs not at a designated time/place. Note that LM can vary in size and components used depending on material being covered & available resources, user skills, can be updated or added to at a later date.
- Discuss how to develop LM designated to their subject matter and course level. Discuss how to keep it informative, not too lengthy, and evaluate the relevance of available tools for their subject matter.
- Quick overview do not linger. Read as they appear and move on unless questions asked.
- Intro slide, discuss what materials and methods mentioned in previous slide would be appropriate.
- Give brief background of GTP ad lib from memory. Click for each animation and answer

- Now everyone knows what they are….how are you going to use that knowledge to develop LM
- Give more verbal examples, learning outcomes (poke a little fun.. everyone is so tired of hearing about/writing them) how they tie into time on task & expectations, refer to self fulfilling prophecy, reinforce need for a calendar schedule by date week, don’t have to reinvent everything use what they have in their my docs already, describe different types of images.

- Discuss Peer Assessment student interaction, the need to have clear benchmarks(grading forms, checklist), discuss how self assessment should make students become independent learners, increase motivation, engage in thought.
- Importance of conversation in an online environment, discuss resources for DB etiquette, how DB promote sense of being part of a group.
- Continue discussion on encouraging student interaction among themselves, instructor reading posts and keeping students on track, providing feedback, how these tools promote thinking skills, let audience guide the different aspects according to their concerns or expertise.
- Discuss the wimba tool is available campus wide, training sessions on using the tool are scheduled, how would benefit using to discuss complex topics.
