SHORT TERM PLANNING CHECKLIST
I have identified clear learning outcomes taken from each strand of objectives.
Teaching, learning, tasks & activities relate to the learning outcomes.
I have used a range of teaching strategies, including whole class, small group, paired
and peer led.
My individual lessons have been connected to each other and they have built on prior
learning.
I have used a range of exciting and relevant resources, including authentic texts, audio,
visual, ICT and concrete resources.
There was a flow from receptive to productive skills.
A range of learning styles are accommodated, including multisensory approaches and
