This document provides an overview of the American OIB literature section at the Lycée International Nelson Mandela in Nantes, France. It summarizes the course structure, which includes 6.5 hours per week studying 13 works of literature using traditional and project-based methods. Students engage with guest speakers and technology-enhanced learning. The objective is to prepare students for the 2019 OIB exam, which consists of an oral commentary exam and a written exam requiring in-depth knowledge of 6 works. Students also have opportunities to participate in creative writing competitions and partner with authors on projects.
