2. WHAT IS THIS NEW PROJECT
ABOUT???
Why now?
Well… many of you wanted to
keep reading new books and
presenting them in class.
The trouble is : you won’t have
time to do it this year in class: too
many works to study in depth…
So I thought: what about
Booktube?
You are going to present your
books, record your presentations
and share them online.
3. THE DIFFERENT STEPS
You will learn about Booktube and analyze what a
good Booktuber does!
You will interview two Booktubers!
Adam Durand (Memento Mori)
The Storyscape
You will read a book on your syllabus or by one of
your syllabus authors and make a Booktube video. (in-
depth analysis)
You are going to watch your friends’ videos and
comment on them (always in a positive and creative
way).
4. THE DIFFERENT STEPS
You will vote for the best video (yes… it IS a
competition !)
And if we can we will do it twice: your second
book will need to be a classic but you can
choose an author who is not on your syllabus
You will fill in this document so that I can
improve the project next year!
6. ADAM DURAND : MEMENTO MORI
Hello, my name is Adam and I live in Seattle,
Washington USA. I run a Booktube channel called
'Memento Mori' which I created in early 2016 and
where I talk about and occasionally review books that I
am currently reading.
Though I do not work in the literacy or publishing
industry, I have a deep passion for reading that has
carried me through the years. Booktube has not only
been a great place for me to talk about the books that
I love (or hate) but also an incredible way for me to
connect to readers from around the world.
I read a variety of books both fiction and non-fiction,
7. THE STORYSCAPE
