Work Experience
10/2015 – Present Marion County Children Services
I am currently working as a Family Support Services/Child Welfare Caseworker for Marion County
Children services. I am responsible for provision of case management,case planning, and direct
intervention services to a caseload of families and children in need of protective service intervention for
child abuse, child neglect, dependency, and sexual abuse. All Caseworker Core Modules are completed.

08/2013 – Present Independent Contractor
I am currently working as a Translator/Interpreter for a diverse range of private and public organizations
such as; Doctor and Therapist’s clinics, Counseling Centers, and the Spanish speaking population as
needed.
08/2012 – 08/2013 Boys and Girls Club Of America
I worked as a Youth Development Professional responsible for performing the duties expressed in our
mission statement: Helped youth to become responsible, caring citizens, and helped them to acquire
leadership skills by providing them with opportunities for planning and decision-making in their life.
I planned and implemented daily activities for the Children such as; homework, exercise, healthy habits,
and art. I also ran power point presentations to educate them on and help them with issues such as
bullying, abuse, and academic and financial success.
09/2006 ˗ 09/2011 Marion Public Health/WIC
I, as a Phlebotomist/Nutritionist Aide, became responsible for all Laboratory duties for the Health
Department's WIC-Women and Infant Children Program. I aided the organization with providing
nutrition education, breastfeeding education, network support, and referrals to; prenatal and pediatric
health care and other maternal and child health and human services programs to: pregnant,
breastfeeding, and post-partum women, infants and children from birth to five years of age. I attended
seminars, continued my education, and met with severalorganizations mostly for my own personal
growth, whether they were required or not by my employer and during off employment hours.

I worked as a Bilingual Account Executive/Manager and a Sales and Marketing Specialist, providing all
circulation needs of its publishers, including newsstands distribution, direct to retail, subscription
fulfillment, and letter shop services to business and/or consumers. I also served as a liaison for the
organization with New York City Transit Authority, providing direct sales, shipping, and tracking
services to its clients.

I worked as an Account Manager performing routine collection activities in accordance to Title “A” and
the United States Collection Agencies’ Federal Guidelines. I promoted satisfaction through problem
solving, assisted with training for new employees, and performed bilingual duties as needed for Spanish
and English accounts.

I have earned my Bachelor of Science in Social Work from The Ohio State University. During my studies I
gained counseling experience while taking a field placement at the North Central Ohio Rehabilitation Center.
2010 – 2012 Marion Technical College
Earned an Associate Degree on Applied Science of Human and Social Services. During the two years I took on
three internships; performed Crisis Intervention for Contact Care-Line/MACC-Marion Area Counseling
Center,Marion General Hospital-Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, and with Marion County Sheriff Office.
Internship and Academic Experience
Learnt to do individual and group counseling in a Juvenal Detention Center setting at the North
Central Ohio Rehabilitation Center-NCORC,taught and learnt life skills at the Boys and Girls Club
of America and the Boys and Girls Club Summer Program.
Internship with the SANE-SexualAssault Nurse Expert Program at the Marion General Hospital.
Internship with the Sheriff’s Deputies; performed Deputies’ daily routines such as responding and
