I have 17+ years of experience in computer and IT business. I was mostly concentrating on Solaris and its management in the datacenter. This includes all kind of data center management topics like OS provisioning, patch management, virtualization, security, monitoring, hardening, packaging, scripting and many more. Most of my work was all about automating and simplifying processes by creating a solution around it. In a datacenter you need standardized and reproducible ways for managing hundreds or thousands of servers.
