Consensus Measures for Phenotypes and Exposures (PhenX) (2015 to date)—Project Manager. Funded
by the National Human Genome Research Institute (NHGRI),the overall goal of this project is to
maintain and expand the PhenXToolkit to meet the evolving needs of the scientific community.
Manages the budgets, schedules, and staffing for the main PhenX U41 grant and 6 administrative
supplements. Completes and delivers quarterly, semiannual and annual reports as required by contract.
Oversees the scheduling of in-person meetings and processes required documentation. Reviews and
approves all purchases,invoices and consulting agreements. Works with the financial analyst each month
to ensure each of the PhenX projects is in good standing. Participates in communications efforts.
Windows Server 2003 Upgrades (2015)—Project Manager. ITS owned 178 physical and virtual servers
that were running on Windows Server 2003, for which Microsoft discontinued support as of July 14th
,
2015. Server owners included ITS infrastructure Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), ITS application support
SMEs, and non-ITS institute-wide SMEs. Coordinated the dispositioning of each server as a candidate
for retirement, requiring upgrade, or to be placed on risk acceptance documentation (approved by ITS
Security & Compliance). Planned the execution of the disposition of all servers. Served as point of
contact for SMEs and vendor engaged in assisting with select complicated server upgrades. Administered
meetings, minutes, and communications for server migrations, including 2 shared server farms (Web &
SQL). Managed the writing, submittal, and approval of rick acceptance forms for 59 servers.
RTI-HS Encryption Solution (2015)—Project Manager. RTI-HS required an encryption solution that
would ensure that only approved staff has the ability to access data regardless of elevated IT privileges

[approved staff limited to EU citizens]. The solution allowed EU staff to encrypt network file shares,
portable/removable media devices, and contained a self-extraction feature for zipped files and email
attachments. Managed all aspects of the project from kick-off through project close-out.
Telephone Work Request System, Pink Ticket / MS Access Database (2015)—BusinessAnalyst/Project
Manager. The database that stores all of the telephone ticketing information for all of the Direct Inward
Dialing (DID) phone numbers that RTI owns was an antiquated system running on a client and server that
were no longer supported by Microsoft. Gathered requirements with the team. Drew up as-is and
proposed future workflows. Managed all aspects of the project.
Managed Print Services (2013 to 2015)—Co-Project Manager. Managed both internal customers and
vendors (Xerox & Accent Imaging) during an interim state of support of printing services. During the
early implementation phase of the Managed Printing Services [MPS] roll-out, ITS’s close monitoring of
vendor SLA’s revealed a breach of contract. ITS terminated the MPS contract with Xerox and performed
a 6-month data collection on printer support and supply usage with Accent Imaging’s assistance. Served
as the pivot point for handling urgent and delicate matters between printer users and the vendors.
Namespace Redesign Project (2013 to 2014)—Project Coordinator. The goalof the Namespace project
was to reduce RTI’s number of domains from 9 to 1 (RTI.NS). The scope of which included the
migration of 500+ servers,300+ applications, 3,000+ mailboxes, 5,000+ workstations, and 7,000+ user
accounts. Organized pilot testing for process validation. Gathered, reported, and projected on project
information including financials, status, and timelines.
