Continuously pushing the educational envelope to grasp new concepts, programs and how-to’s in the animation industry. Keeping on top of this is very important in order to stay competitive. “Knowledge is power” is not just a phrase.
I’m not concentrating only one one thing. The world of animation and what I’m learning can be used in different media sources, filming sources and community based projects. Animation has grown so much that almost every commercial contains some form of CG. I plan to take full advantage of that.
Being an animator means bringing to life the unimaginable. Clients come to you with a vision and you make it happen for them. Superseding anyone’s expectations is key without demolishing quality. I look forward to those ventures to come.
To know where I’m going is to visualize the end result. I ask myself where do I want to end up more times than I ask where do I begin. Starting FullSail was the beginning. Where do I visualize the end result?
I started this career choice because I wanted to spend the rest of my life doing something I would enjoy and have fun doing every single day for as long as my mind can carry me.
Let us not only love what we do … but let’s love doing it. My goal is to make an impact on not just my country but on the world. Even if I cannot make an international impact, just loving what I do and doing what I love will impact me and those around me as well.
Taking my creations, imagination, work ethics and vision to the next level adds to the end result. Constantly pushing the envelope .. Becoming better … doing better .. Presenting better. No one will ever settle for just good. In this industry you have to stand above the crowd and that is what I plan to do.
The only way to continue the road of success is to not limit yourself to all avenues that are presented. You can turn down something that could take you to a whole new level in your career. Never feel beyond something and never settle for less than what you deserve. Be honest with yourself and truthful in your own measurement as an animator/creator. Staying focused and true to yourself will aid in that end result. So what is this end result I keep referring to?
Create a plan … observe the plan … adjust the plan … measure the results … and create your own success. That is the end result. Combine all of these things that make your career what you want it to be and you will succeed in all that you do. Thank you.
