Swara's George Washington Carver research project

1. George Washington Carver was born around 1861, on July 12th
His parents, Mary and Giles Carver, were slaves owned by Susan and Moses Carver
He and his mom were kidnapped and taken down to Arkansas
George Washington Carver was a famous scientist and did some work with agriculture
George discovered and did experiments with different plants used in farming
He also helped make different pesticides to fight against insects that made life harder for
the farmers
George Carver developed new ways or techniques that are still used today in farming today.
He also found uses for different things like peanuts and other plants. He also was awarded
many medals and honors during his life time
He made wood stain, shampoo, face powder, printer-ink, vinegar, soap, coffee, butter, milk
and cheese
After making such big achievements in his life George died on January 5th 1943
