north east of Rome and 60km east of Ancona.
Directions
From Ancona airport take the super strada SS 76 direction
Rome. At Borgo Tufico take the SP256 towards Matelica. Follow
the directions for Matelica. In Matelica pass two roundabouts
and at the first traffic lights turn left on the SP122 towards
Gagliole. After 6 kilometers and a series of bends and
spectacular scenic roads you will arrive at Gagliole.
The territory of Gagliole is characterized by
three large natural environments. The plains of
Selvalagli along the river Potenza mostly
cultivated and industrialised. The second natural
environment is the high hilltops where most of
the medieval villages and settlements can be
found and where the administrative centre of
Gagliole is headquartered. The third natural

oak trees that uniquely defines the whole region
in these parts of Le Marche.
