IMPETUS PORTUGAL is an industrial company devoted to the production and commercialization of
underwear, loungewear and beachwear.
Founded in December 1973 with only 6 employees, is nowadays leader of a Group of 8 companies,
4 of them being linked to production and the remaining being subsidiaries dealing with the distri-
bution within the main European markets.
Since 1990, IMPETUS PORTUGAL has been investing in Design and I&D, employing skilled people
and using adequate materials, creating the brand IMPETUS.
The fact of being a vertical company, with its own design department, product development,
jerseys weaving, dyeing, finishing, confection and logistics, permits IMPETUS PORTUGAL to enjoy
strong competitive advantages, both in its capacity of developing new and innovative products and
in whatever refers to quality control. IMPETUS PORTUGAL activity is focused on middle & upper
middle market share in Western Europe and is distributed in 35 countries worldwide. The target

fashion for all family, with an irreverent and funny style.

EDEN PARK
In 2009 Impetus PORTUGAL did an agreement to have the license of Eden Park, a French intimate
fashion Brand. The Brand was founded in 1988 by Franck Mesnel and Eric Blanc, and other former
players of rugby’s French team ’Racing Club’ and French’s National Team, winner of some editions
of the 5 Nations Championship, being inspired in this sport for its high lines range.
