2. Started Operation in 1989 by Mr.Mahendra Aggarwal as a Door to Door
Cargo Company.
Initially was a Division of TCI(Transport Corporation of India which
was owned by Agarwal Family.
Became Successful due to its commitment on delivery and money -back
guarantee.
Initially started its operation between Chennai and Madurai.
After 6months of its initial run, Gati was Relaunched in 4 Cities
(Hyderabad, Chennai, Bangalore & Hosur)
In 1994 Gati separated from Transport Corporation of India became a
Separate Entity.

Mr. Mahendra Agarwal is the
Founder & CEO of Gati Ltd. –

in 1989 with an aim to redefine
