2. It´s the time before the invention of
writing.
The Stone Age includes 3 periods : the
Paleolithic, the Mesolithic and the Neolithic.
The Metal Ages includes the Bronze Age and
the Iron Age.
What´s Prehistory?

3. The Paleolithic
.This is the period before humans started to plant crops (before agriculture).

4. They were nomadic.
They lived in caves.
They painted on the walls of
their caves.
They hunted and ate plants.
They made tools with stone.
They discovered the fire.
They made clothes from animal
skins
Characteristics of the Paleolithic

5. The Neolithic.
They learnt to grow plants and raise animals. They were farmers.

6. Characteristics of the Neolithic
They grew crops
They became sedentary
They had domestic animals
They also were artisans.
They made pots from clay.
They made better tools
They started to exchange
products: they traded.

7. The Metal Ages
Finally, they started to make objects from metal

8. Characteristics of the Metal Ages
They used metal for making new
tools and ornaments.First they used
bronze and then iron.
They invented the wheel
