In 1781 the Spanish
governor Felipe de Neve
founded “El Pueblo de
Nuestra señora la Reina
de los Angeles de
Porciuncula” and in
1848 became a part of
the United States.

In the 1920s L.A
became know for the
two industries more
important in America’s:
motion pictures and
aricraft. Motion picture
producters moved to L.A
because of the weather
and beautiful filming
locations.
5. GOLDEN AGE
Seven studios had
created the biggest
motion picture industry
in the world, this was
the golden age of
Hollywood. In 1930s
were produced around
400 films a year.
6. THE HOLLYWOOD WALK OF FAME
It is a sidewalk along
Hollywood Boulevar
where there are more
than 2000 stars with the
name of a celebrity.
7. GRAUMAN’S CHINESE THEATRE
Is Hollywood’s most
famous movie theatre.

200 handprints,
footprints and
autographs of hollywood
stars in the cement.
