Since the year 2002 Maja Petrić has been creating and teaching at interface of art, technology, and science. Her focus has been on transforming poetic experience of space through light, the light art. Maja Petrić’s Light Art has been has been nominated for the 2015 INTERNATIONAL LIGHT ART AWARD. She exhibited at Medialab Prado, Henry Art Gallery, Amazon.com Headquarters Gallery, Microsoft Research Gallery, ISEA, etc. She received Richard Kelly Light Art Award, Thunen Lighting Awards, Doctoral Fellowship from Croatian Science Foundation, etc.
