1. Projects:
1- UNICEF projects – supplying and installing newsubmersible pumps in
barrels for ras al-ain and jezzine pumping stations .
The projects electromechanical duties:
- Replacing the vertical multistage pumps with new submersible pumps in barrels
for feeding different regions: seddqine, al bus and hanawai (all in tyre) and its
all accessories with power and control cables and control cabinet.
- Same duties were preformed for jezzine pumping station.
- All the removed parts and accessories were delivered to the water establishment
committee.
2- Mercy corps projects:
The projects duties:
- Replacing the wells’ submersible pumps and its accessories if needed with its
power and control cables and control cabinet.
- Replacing of multistage pump (booster pump) with new one (or installation of
new one) with its control and power cabinet and its accessories need on suction
and discharge lines.
3- UNICEF projects – supplying and operating submersible pumps for
wells.
The projects duties:
- Replacing the wells’ submersible pumps (or installing new one) and its
accessories needed with its power and control cables.
- Installation of lightning protection system.
- Installation of the well head accessories with different sizes as requested.
- Installation of the chlorination system to supply chlorine gas to the water from
the well.
- Building manholes for the well head accessories with steel cover and rooms for
the control cabinet and chlorination system and for the operator (if existing an
operator).
- Grounding and earthing system for the pipes, fence, control cabinet.
- Supplying and installation of prefabricated room at different sizes.
- Cyclopean concrete slab and manholes works.
- Installation of steel barrels for the submersible pump (booster pump) and
2. accessories (check valve, valves ...etc).
4- WARD COMPANY -DIFFERENT PUMPING STATION IN SOUTH
LEBANON:
The project duties:
- Exploring the site for installing and connecting the new (or repaired) surge tank
to the main discharge line (existing one) and its all accessories such as check
valve, expansion joint (st.steel type) and valve.
- Installation of the compressor for the surge tank and it’s all piping connections
and electrical cables.
5- MAJLES AL-JANOUB-WARD COMPANY – SHAKRA PUMPING
STATION TO BINT JBEIL AND MAIS AL-JABAL:
The project consists of Mechanical and Electrical work;
For the mechanical duties:
- Installation of new submersible pumps with power, controland level sensors for
three wells and their well head accessories.
- Installation of four submersible pumps in barrels (booster pumps) to supply Bint
Jbiel (connected to one collector in parallel) and three submersible pumps in
barrels (booster pumps) to supply Mais al Jabal (connected to another collector
in parallel also)
- Installation of all needed accessories for each booster pump and on the
collectors.
- Installation of new surge tank on bint jbiel main line for protection and all its
accessories.
- Installation of chlorination system for the main suction line to supply chlorine
gas for both main lines.
For the electrical duties:
- Installation of new sets of control cabinet represented in two sets, one for Bint
Jbiel and one for Mais al Jabal with the power connections of the submersible
pump.
- Installation of new control cabinet for each well with the power connections.
3. 6- USAid project-CDM smith (consultant)-Rehabilitation of Batoulay and
Ouadi Jilo Pump Stations (two years duration):
The project consists of Mechanical, civil and electrical work;
For the mechanical duties:
- Replacing submersible multistage pumps (for water wells) and the associated
6’’ and 8’’ pipes with the required valves and accessories (duel plate check
valve, gate valve, air release valve and dismantling joint).
- Replacing booster pumps (multistage pumps) with piping modification and
fabrication work for the pumps suction and discharge lines (10’’, 8’’ and 6’’
pipes) with the required valves and accessories (duel plate check valve, gate
valve, air release valve and dismantling joint).
- High pressure welding and fabrication pipes (PN 40) with calibrating from 0 to
50 bar and supplying pressure gauge, differential pressure switch (high and
law).
- Supplying and installing on the wells discharge pipes located in the room below
the water tank, solar ultrasonic flow meters with all accessories, solar panel and
cables.
- All the replacement of the booster and submersible pumps comes with
replacing the main control cabinets and power and control cables.
- Repairing the surge tanks and booster pumps’ inlet strainers.
- Installation if different types of flow meters (electromagnetic and ultrasonic
flow meters).
- Designing and performed different types of welding for creating different
shapes and sizes of pipes supports.
4. For the electrical duties:
- Replacing and repairing all the damaged and broken lights inside and outside.
Installation of new external lights running at the photovoltaic cell.
- Installation new air conditioning system for the cooling the new control cabinets
for the booster pumps and wells pumps.
- Providing power and control cables for both submersible and horizontal pumps
and installation underground in galvanized conduits.
- Installation of solar powered batteries for the ultrasonic flow meters.
- Installation of lightning protection systems at different elevations according to
the surrounding buildings-from the nimbus head to the earth (grounding) pit
with all the required materials.
- Testing and measuring the existing power cables by performing a megger test at
different voltage values.
- Installation of 6 sets of new main control cabinet for both stations and AUX.
control panels with ATS cabinet.
- Providing grounding cables for electrical transformers and booster pumps
connected to new earth rods with resistance less than 2 ohms.
For the civil duties:
- Excavation and building of new man holes for different purposes. Excavation
and digging for revealing power cables and 24’’ pipes.
- Repairing the external of the buildings with stone gladding and water proofing
products.
- Removing the old red tiles from the buildings’ roofs and installing new one with
new zinc gutter for rain water.
- Compacting all the backfilled places with addition of layers of asphalts.
- Performing frameworks-steel bars 12mm and 14mm diameter and supplying
reinforced concrete (30 MPa) for new manholes of all wells with waterproof
5. materials and galvanized steel vents to prevent humidity and inside the chamber
with heavy duty iron covers.
- Waterproofing works on the roof of water tanks after screed. Using non-shrink
grout for the pads of the BPs.
- Installation of new galvanized steel ladder inside the water tank and handrails
after removing the old one.
- Painting the internal walls of both pumping stations as required, also painting
the floor with anti slip epoxy paints inside the pumping rooms of pumping
stations.
- Repairing all the aluminum doors and windows inside the pumping stations.
General work duties:
- Meeting and coordinating with the foreman for coordinating the timeline work
and for solving problems if existing.
- Supervising in the site in order to have a perfect work according to the design
and drawings.
- Performing solutions & improvement for devices according to the insulation
process. Submitting reports (weekly and monthly) for the preformed jobs with
photos of every activity.
- Taking measurements for the installed quantities to check according to the Bill
of Quantities.
- Drawing the mechanical, civil and electrical drawings for the project before
perform the work to have the approval of any activity, also deliver the as built
drawings.
- Organizing the activities sequence for the labors and foreman to finish in a
perfect, professional way and with lower cost.
- Submitting inspection document to the consultant after each item fulfilling.
- Deliver the operation and maintenance manuals for civil, electrical and
mechanical items and work.
- Testing the installed electrical and mechanical machines such as booster pumps,
submersible pumps …etc (startup testing procedures).
