AIM OF THE TOPIC
 To study the issues regarding
spoken English.
INTRODUCTION
Many of us feel that English is a difficult language.
In some cases, it is restricted only during school
hours.
Every time we speak English; vocabulary, slang and
grammar worries us.
This leads to the fear of making mistakes.
 We think that English for us, is a foreign language.
Issues
1. Poor Vocabulary
2. Unable to express thoughts
3. Fear/ Reputation at stake
4. Lack of preparation
5. Fumbling/ Stammering

7. Pessimism

 Framing new sentences and speaking slowly can
overcome grammar problem
 Practice to improve fluency
CONCLUSION
English should be taught at an early age
Solutions appear simple but are difficult to
implement
Child should be encouraged to speak English at
their early age and learn by their mistakes
students should form teams to express and
correct each other, without being let down
 Teachers must encourage the students to speak
and later rectify their problems
 Problems can be solved by bold determination
from students and teachers
 The take-home message is, “think English, write
English, speak English”
 English is an international language which is
essential for everyone in some form or the other
in daily life.
