This talk was given by Josh Valman, RPD, at Magnolia Conference 2015 in Basel, Switzerland. Josh Valman is the Managing Director at RPD International, which designs and manufactures cutting-edge connected products for airlines, hotels, brands and startups. Josh is pioneering new processes for prototyping and developing connected products which are allowing brands to implement Internet of Things campaigns. The presentation will give some unique insights into what factors need to be considered when developing IoT products and campaigns, from concept, production and logistics, right through to implementation. Josh will share some learnings about the role that a digital business platform can play at the centre of an IoT project: giving manageable control and security, creating actionable insights and providing tools to engage and delight customers.
