1. Vampire Masquerade
Breaking News! Vampire clan takes over theater!
The clan has taken over the theater - with no promises that the audience will leave alive.
Then they learn that the Dark Lord and Artemis the Slayer are both headed their way on
the same night, and thus begins a night of love and danger. Vamp helps his Queen borrow
a body for the night. Gricel is attacked by Dogboy (a vampire transformed into a dog by
the loss of too many loved ones) but Gricel is saved but then captured by a grieving
witch. When Gricel and Hans fall in love, they must find a way to escape the witch. News
reporter Virginia and clan scion Thomas fall in love; in an attempt to protect the clan,
Virginia slips away alone into the night to try to reason with the Slayer. Party girls Paris
and Nicole find their party fun goes awry after their new "drinking buddy" Jenny wanders
away from the disco as she transitions to vampirehood. The stories are interwoven and
come to their own ends by the end of the night in the lives of this vampire clan. Does the
audience get out alive? You'll have to go and see!
Happily Whatever After
In the mood for a little dark humor? Try these fairy tales in their original twisted
versions, before Disney cleaned them up.
What happened to Cinderella's first stepmother? What?? She had more than one?? See!
What else didn’t you know? What did Ariel the Mermaid find out about her prince after
the Sea Witch gave her legs? What really transpired between Little Red Riding Hood and
the Big Bad Wolf? And what happened to Sleeping Beauty while she was asleep? These
stories and so much more -- not the cleaned-up Disney versions, but something far more
entertaining!
Angel Academy
How do angels earn their wings? Find out at the show! (It's not as easy as you think.)
Angels-in-Training must "earn their wings" by serving their first mission -- helping the
living to find happiness -- and in the process they find their own happiness, each in their
own unique way. Some learn the joy of helping two lonely people break through
awkwardness to find love; of helping a mother and child finally reach out to one another
in love; others finally experience what it feels like for the people they left behind. Funny,
heartwarming and full of valuable insights, this is a feel-good show.
Wonder Women
A peek into the dramatically funny personal lives of the superheroes we all love!
The superhero women of The Super League have left the League in protest over skimpy
costumes and chronic sidekick status. Diane and Steve fall in love and plan to marry, but
are headed for a huge speed bump. After Nightshade defeats her arch nemesis Mistress
we see a surprising turn of events. Evelynne saves the world and then turns Ultra Woman
and her sidekick Ultra Girl into zombie servants. A-Lex and Vittolio bungle yet another
secret mission. Amazon fights to save Kelly from a deadly illness caused by a blast from
The Assassin's gamma ray gun. And Equalizer makes sure obnoxious and arrogant
League President Mr. Miraculous gets exactly what he deserves.
Metro Med
2. A hospital in crisis shows humor and heart that dispels the fear of death.
Metro Med is a once-prestigious older hospital facing a funding crisis, but still full of
seasoned doctors who care passionately about their patients and their work. As crusty
hospital head Dr. Martin Kriss seeks financial assistance to keep Metro Med alive, he
finds himself fighting for his own life. At the same time, a doctor finds healing with a
critically ill celebrity parent who was rarely around; a loving husband must face the fact
that he has accidentally killed his pregnant wife; and a morgue attendant helps the dead
transition from fear and confusion to the discovery that death is simply a natural and
pleasant part of life. This play is a great antidote for the fear of death.
The Dark Side of the Moon
A beautiful and haunting rock opera set to the Pink Floyd album.
A beautiful and haunting rock opera set to the Pink Floyd album The Dark Side of the
Moon, it tells the story of the birth of humanity and the battle between good and evil,
with humanity's evolution from good to evil and then back to good again, expressed
entirely in movement. Seen and loved by members of Pink Floyd, it's a show audience
members come back to see again and again.
