WHAT IS ROBOTICS ?
• Robotics is the branch of technology that deals with the design, construction, operation and
application of robots and computer systems for their control, sensory feedback and information
processing.
• Robotics can also be defined as the science by which a particular job or a group of jobs being done
automatically with the help of controllers.
• Robotics provides a unique combination of the pillars of STEM: Science, Technology, Engineering,
and Math.
INDUSTRIAL ROBOTICS:
 Industrial robotics deals with movement of materials,
parts, tools and performing a variety of programmed tasks in
manufacturing and production units.
