The Project Manager is responsible for end-to-end delivery of skills development projects for Arc Skills Nigeria, including planning, budgeting, staffing, curriculum development, delivery, and ensuring customer satisfaction and profitability. Key responsibilities include creating project plans, identifying and managing project staff, building relationships with senior client stakeholders, overseeing daily operations and financials, identifying opportunities for additional sales, and maintaining professional standards. The ideal candidate has over 12 years of experience in training consulting, project management, content development, and managing large teams, preferably with international and bank client experience.

Job Purpose
The Project Manager is responsible for the implementation and management of world-class
skills development projects. The Project Manager will be responsible for the end to end
delivery of the project and will be accountable for Customer Satisfaction and Profitability of the
project. The role would involve planning, reviewing and corrective action planning for the
project, managing varied teams, building relationships with key stakeholders in the client
environment and sustaining high levels of customer satisfaction. The Project Manager will also
be responsible to manage the P&L of the project, by ensuring targets are met, expenses are
minimised and manage the budget according to the approved budget plan.
Internal & External Interactions
Internal: Divisional Head, Country CEO’s, Functional Heads
External: Private Sector Clients, Government and Public Sector clients, Government
officials, Promoters, Regulatory Bodies, Sector Skills Councils, the country or
regional level Ministry of Education for compliance with statutory requirements;
Contractors and other service providers for outsourced value added services
Key Responsibilities
Create a plan for successful implementation of the project within set deadlines and
profitability targets
Identify, acquire, groom and maintain a high quality workforce for the project working
closely with the HR department
Conduct Train the Trainer and certification of the project personnel deployed for the project
Oversee the creation of curriculum and other such support material required for successful
delivery of the project

Work closely with the client teams to schedule and support the project
Build relationships with critical senior management stakeholders in the client and get their
ownership of the project
Manage day-to-day operations of the project
Constantly seek opportunities for up selling / cross selling our range of products with the
client. Once identified, closely work with the internal teams to submit a proposal and
acquire the order
Deliver critical training programs or any related activities as and when needed
Develop and monitor key performance lead and lag indicators with an emphasis on
creating improved performance through training
Continuously monitor and solicit feedback on all training programs and materials to ensure
accuracy, relevance and effectiveness
Manage and report project financials by conducting a comprehensive budget and monitor
closely the project's financial and operational performance in conjunction with the
approved profitability plan
Make financially sound business decisions, with a key focus on identifying cost saving
opportunities and ROI
Facilitate the identification of or provide leads to potential business opportunities through
client referrals or partnerships to be used to leverage ARC Skills long term business
interests
Maintain the highest level of professional and ethical standards
Candidate Requirements
Qualifications / knowledge:
Post-graduate degree (MBA will be advantageous)
Skills:
Excellent presentation/facilitation skills and the ability to communicate internationally are
mandatory
Consulting level presentation creation skills and skills to make presentations to the ExCom
team of the client
Managing Large Skill projects
Pleasing personality with an ability to relate to people and build effective relationships
Ability to work under tight deadlines and with demanding clients

12+ years of experience in training consulting role
Worked with teams on large and dynamic projects
2-3 years bank clients experience
At least 5 years project management experience
Content Development experience
L&D solutions experience
Master trainer experience and training of Senior Management levels
ERP training and implementation experience
Experience of running academy in large organizations
Preferred International exposure
Outstanding academic achievement – advanced degrees preferred
Will be responsible for handling a team of at least 15 consultants/trainers
