2. My film is similar to the crime/thriller genre of films and video games.
In these types of films and video games the protagonist is stereotypically
male and is typically a mysterious enigma throughout the narrative.
For our film we tried to copy this trait and make the main character a male
while hiding his face keeping a sense of mystery and suspense. He is also
dressed smartly and working in a professional office with a sectary. This was
typical of a thriller follows the conventions of a ‘hitman’. It was also a mirror
of the character in the hit video game ‘hitman absolution’ the character is
similar in how the hardly speak and just get on with the job at hand.

3. Our film follows the stereotype of a man who the audience thinks is an average guy
who has a deep and dark secret. On the outside he looks a harmless man with a
good job and a good home. However, he is truly as dark as they come. Our film is
similar to the film: Collateral in which Tom Cruise goes against type to play the villain
as Michael Mann looks to recreate the success of Heat in this hitman-on-a-mission
thriller. Jamie Foxx is the reluctant cabbie who is forced to go along with Cruise's
slick killer in this accomplished outing where the city of Los Angeles is just as much
the star. This is similar to our film as the protagonist, who is just as bad as the villain
is cared for and is also intriguing for the audience.

4. In one particular scene, a receptionist is played by a female. This was to show the
difference in stereotypes of how women and men are scene. This follows suit of
other films as stereotypically women play the roles of receptionists or personal
assistants. We followed this type as we wanted to show how women are
represented and we wanted our main character ‘Anderson’ to appear to be more
typical in his role and for his surroundings to also be stereotypical.
