3. Greetings,
Are you excited about learning more about how to market your business using social media? It’s a
huge topic and especially when you combine it all with keeping up with the constant change on the
various social platforms.
As a marketer of our business, we have to keep up with the change and adjust our strategies
accordingly. What was working 6-months ago, may not be working now.
The focus of this 3.5 hour session, which includes hands-on training, is to teach you about key
strategies for marketing your company via social platforms in 2019. I have chosen three specific
social platforms for your training: Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn.
The beginning of this training will educate you to creating a goal, how to choose a channel,
determining the demographic of these platforms, and creating content that works. That’s just the
beginning.
Bring your Smartphone and/or laptop for the hands-on portion of this training.
See you in class,
Donna Gilliland

Quote from Sprout Social Report
Video Content or Bust
The need for brands to produce video is greater than ever.
Across all networks, social video content is among the most viewed and shared hands-down. Facebook and Instagram, in particular, are pushing video hard right now which is notable given how their respective algorithms will continue to evolve in 2019.
Live? Long-form? Short looping video? There’s no shortage of options for brands to play the role of producer these days regardless of your budget
Sprout Social Quote:
Each social media platform has it’s own demographics. They are not all the same size each requires it’s own content. Understanding the social media demographics of each platform is an essential step to take before determining which platforms make the most sense for your brand to utilize. Each social media network comes in a different shape and size, with its own content strategy and user base, so there’s no one size fits all technique. You don’t want to waste your time creating content for a platform where your audience doesn’t actually have a large presence..
