• Responsible for managing the company’s procurement activities.
• Sourcing the most affordable materials locally and internationally for
company’s manufacturing process.
• Regularly contacting suppliers for different reasons including prices,
test certificates etc.
• Helping to source alternative.
• Attending exhibitions like 5 big shows in Jeddah etc.
• Handling correspondence with suppliers.
• Administrating contracts for major purchases.
• Supervising and directing purchasing functions such as
product/service research, vendor selection, price and contract terms

• Preparing /reviewing of purchase requisition and order for accuracy
and ensures compliance with the company‘s policies and procedures.
• Development and implement of a corporate purchasing policy to
effect the best value for money arrangements available.
• Import of precast accessories. Anchor channels, T-bolts, Wavy tail
anchors, steel chamfers, lifting loops, sockets and couplers.
• Preparing export /import documents for Gulf countries..
• Arrangements for clearance of air freight and sea freight shipments,
dealing with cargo agents, shipping lines and in land transporters.
• Handling of bank related tasks e.g L/C, LG’s and dealing with bank
for company‘s bank facility etc….
• Procurement strategy development, negotiating and supplier
evaluation, contract execution.
• Setting up direct contact with manufacturers (local & international)
and guarantee providing products with a long terms contract.
• Development of effective relationships both with suppliers to maintain
an overview of good procurement practice.
• Identify risks in relation to assigned major contracts, business
arrangement, support development of the overall solution and
individual supplier solution.
• Arrangement of verifying the quality of products/steel as per supplier’s
MTC / inspection certificate issued by the mill/manufacturer for wire
