DCAMM has built 22 of the state’s 55
LEED-certified buildings since 2007:
• 4 LEED Certified
• 4 LEED Silver
• 12 LEED Gold
• 2 LEED Platinum, DEP – Wall
Experiment Station, and the Division of
Fish & Wildlife Headquarters
DCAMM has approximately 22 buildings in
queue to be certified by USGBC

1st Building Certified
DEP Wall Experiment Station
Certified in the top 3% of all LEED-NC projects nationally. DEP
Wall is the first certified platinum public laboratory in the
Northeastern U.S and is in the top 11% for Indoor Environmental
Quality (IEQ).

Solar PV Maintenance Contract
• OSD and DCAMM have made available the of a Statewide Contract for Solar
Inspection Services, FAC91.
• Procure the inspection of your Solar arrays
• Two different levels of service by State vetted industry experts.
o 1st level is a visual inspection of the array, condition of the array report,
performance of the inverters and entire array as they compare with
PVWATTs or PVSYST,.
o 2nd higher level, inspection is to determine not only the above
parameters, but also performance of the array on the string level.

Approach to Filling Career Opportunities
1. Outreach: Adapt outreach campaigns about job/career opportunities to
targeted communities.
a. Get them young! Expose young people to areas of future jobs at an
early age.
b. Inform/direct them to training programs.
c. Use people in the right trades/professions as mentors.
2. Training: Use existing internship, pre-apprenticeship, apprenticeship
and training programs.
a. Connect with vocational/technical schools and Community Colleges.
b. Provide training to keep people up-to-date. Not everyone is up on
new technology.
c. Secure and maintain Building Operator Certification (BOC.)
3. Retraining:
a. Retraining Facility management staff, and building occupants.
b. Focus targeted attention on adult learners and people re-training
from previous careers.
c. Integrate maintenance standards and sustainability practices
