START FROM A FICTION TO CREATE A REAL WORLD
‣ Surrealims movement was close to this
point (walt Disney worked on a cartoon
project with DALI) but didn’t create heroes;
‣ PICASSO at the end of his life loved to
paint series of paintings using the same
characters but used legends from ancient
Greece or literature.
‣ POP ART turns stars from the consumer
world into superheroes but was just
focussed on graphic effect.
‣ The cartoon patchwork style from

inspired by painting with regard to the shots
of view, the painting has long been
the reference in terms of framing in relation
to cinematographic techniques.
‣ Storytelling reverses the process and uses
the techniques of cinema (close
up, American plan, split screen, angle,
smashed cut, overprints and overdrive
plans, etc) to offer other possibilities in
terms of framing and introduce
new emotions.

BIOGRAPHY
Modernity is freedom of the spirit in the service of the future, fashion is a
subjection to the dictates of his time : one creates new theories, the other
shows he has learned the lessons of his time.
Marc Ferrero was born in 1963.
Inventor and creator of the Storytelling Art, he begins drawing influenced
by Comics.
Passionate about TV series and movies from the 70s, he realizes the
need to fragment and section stories on canvas.
Despite the fact that he is a self made man, the path he followed during
his training is somewhat classic: a long apprenticeship focused on
drawing and sketching (black lead, charcoal, black and white, gouache
then acrylic and oils).
He completes his studies while 16 years old to complete personal
projects designed to allow him to travel extensively and start developing
his inspiration towards the creation of stories giving life to his own
characters and actors.
His storytelling art project titled 'Once upon a time the Comitive', a
romanesque adventure taking place between New York and Monaco
where three principal characters are given life on painting. Those are Lisa
L' Aventura and her glamorous world, Duke a British dandy fan of Jazz
and Cello, professional Polo player and Tango dancer is today well
known.
He participates in his first Contemporary art exhibit in New York in 1999
and opens his own gallery upon his return in Eze on the French Riviera.
Art dealers from all around the world come to buy and resell his paintings,
he is the french artist that sells the most.
So far, over 7000 master pieces have entered private collections around
the world with no less than 2500 in the US alone and he now collaborates
very closely with famous creators and with the film industry.

The first graphic novel in paintings, for the first time a painter created
fictive characters in paintings and make them alive through adventures,

trader for 10 years he made a fortune, lost it all and
disappeared , today he is the most wanted man by
the city in London, nocturnal poker player and lover
of jazz , he offers his many talents to the sevice of La
Comitive.
‣ Marcello Di Cordoba as CELLO : Argentinian,
professional polo player , jet setter, brought up in a
circus , head of a gang of "gauchos" . Well known in
South America for his fight againstFinancial crimes,
a sort of modern day Robin Hood he is always ready

Artificial Intelligence consumes the real world.....
The world today is divided into two distinct halves , the world of machines and that of humans. The heroes
fight to preserve the real world , yet the machines are gaining ground each day converting individuals with
artificial intelligence.
Throughout the urban landscape appear enormous turning machines.
The Heroes of La Comitive Lisa , Duke and Cello are left in the real world can they save Humanity with
their respective talents ?
A modern tale of the eternal battle between good and evil.

38. SYNOPSIS OF
EXHIBITION AND SHOW
“Hidden behind apparently inoffensive toys and manipulated by strange beings, a spiral of complexity has invaded
our daily lives and created a world of illusions in which the robot True Love has taken power, by offering all who
desire it a capsule of ready made happiness which under the cover of simple pleasures plunges humanity into
enslavement and a life of monotony.
But there is hope, symbolized by the Question Mark FLOWER which grows like an ephemeral flower under the
light of the full moon as it rises over the roves of our cities.
Once picked its magical powers will grow in the hearts of men and their dark future will become bright.
No one has ever succeeded in grasping this flower it would take a contortionist to meet this challenge .But without
such help this feat seems unrealistic, and disappointed at not being the first to reach this Question Mark flower and
so destroy it , the robot True Love with his complex brain has devised a series of impassable obstacles ( in the form
of tests ) which block the paths that lead to the Question Mark flower when it appears.
But a secret network may to be able to achieve this incredible feat and so save the world. The name of this network ..
La Comitive and at the helm are the hero Lisa L'Aventura, Cello Cordoba and Duke Spencer Percival...
