2. Ko wai au? Who am I?

3. No whea au? where am I from

4. I am a reflection of my parents, grandparents, great grandparents
I am a reflection of my whakapapa and my environment

5. What does water have to do with who I am? What does water have to do with anything?

6. Not only am I predominately made up of water, it is salty
and sometimes it rages within me

7. And sometimes it’s calm

8. What has this to do with my reflective practice?

10. My culture encourages me to return physically and spiritually to my
environment to regain balance and alignment in life

11. Reflective practice is about what I do and how I do it,

12. My environment teaches me about purpose, processes,
maintenance and sustainability

13. That every process requires time, energy and
sometimes support for a successful outcome

15. Keeping our eyes on the horizon enhances our
vision to ensure future generations are catered for
