boots. She also lies on the floor with her legs open, this shows us her vulnerability and
emotion, she wants the audience to feel her weakness towards the man she is singing

There are no men in the music video, or other women except Miley. Miley presents
herself to us naked, showing all her flesh and womanly features. As the song is quite
emotional and deep, the fact she is naked unfortunately takes all attention away from
that point. For example the video shows Miley licking a sledge hammer, symbolising
phallic qualities.

There are no sexual lyrics; however Miley creates a message to the audience, representing
women as vulnerable and weak displaying her body to the viewers. She also creates an
