• None of the existing products stand out as the best in
flexibility, performance, reliability and cost, we have a mishmash
of incompatible products and standards in the home automation
market.
• Hefty price tag, sizable installation cost and heavy complex
machinery which is still prone to a lot of vulnerabilities and yet
does not integrate perfectly.
• Incompatible standards battling it out in the pro area, competing
on service, breadth of offering, and reliability, but not so much on
price.
