Do you like comedies and musicals? Then you must see Bandslam – a very funny
film about music and romance at a high school in New Jersey, USA.
Charlotte, a popular girl at school, is a singer and songwriter, and she’s got a rock
group. Charlotte wants to win the school’s big music competition – Bandslam. She
asks Will, a new boy at school, to help the band. Will isn’t at all popular, but he’s got
amazing musical talent. Will agrees to help. Charlotte is older than Will, but they
become good friends. Later, Will meets Sam, a beautiful singer and guitar player,
and a romance begins between them. There are some exciting and surprising
moments on the night of the big Bandslam competition. The teenagers must decide:
Is winning more important than friends?
Aly Michalka, a fantastic singer and actress, is Charlotte. Vanessa Hudgens is Sam.
She sings beautifully and acts well, too. Gaelan Connell is Will. He’s a great actor
and he’s very funny. The music in Bandslam is enjoyable and the story is realistic
and interesting. It’s a fantastic film!
