There’s no better way to celebrate the
season than a super summer festival!
May 25 marks Gallmeyer Farms 9th
Annual Strawberry Fields Festival. It’s a
celebration of sweet berries, family, food,
friends and fun. Live music from Nick
Smith, Southern Comfort, Amy Ladd
and Friends, Heart of Country and
Amaris and Shiloh. Peruse our vendors
for jewelry, crafts, gifts, organic soaps
and lotions and wonderful food! We’ll
have pick-your-own berries, honey and
spring veggies for sale and free hay
rides. Coolers and chairs are welcome.
The Berry Patch is OPEN
8 am to 8 pm, EVERY day!
The Berry Patch offers strawberry picking with
NO COVER CHARGE and free containers! Pick
your own for $2.49 per lb. or purchase pre-picked
for $3.49 per lb. They’re sweet and ready for the
tasting! We also have fresh picked onions, peas,
beets, spinach, kale and more. We offer free
hayrides every day. Also children can enjoy the
play area where toys are supplied. Bring your own lunch to enjoy in our shaded
picnic area. The Berry Patch is the perfect place to while away a summer’s day!
Bring your daycare, school or church
group to The Berry Patch. Enjoy a
fantastic day out on a real strawberry
farm, complete with an old Victorian
home place, shade trees for picnics
and a play area! Our staff is prepared
to direct educational field trips which
must be requested on site the day of
your visit. Please find one of our staffers,
gather your children and we’ll give a
talk about how strawberries grow. For
only $7 per child, they will receive: a two
quart container to pick their own berries,
a coloring book, a private hayride for
the group, an educational presentation
on the growth process of the strawberry
plant, from transplant through the
relationship with the honeybee and
ending with how we benefit from their
relationship. Picnic and play areas are
also included.

Farm fresh produce is

produce that is shipped
and stored for weeks. We
have no transit time- we
pick it and offer it to you
for purchase! As we like to
say around here“If it were
any fresher, it would still be
