Lindsey Mikash is an art historian, writer, and instructor. She specializes in 20th and 21st century art, with areas of focus in Land Art, Outsider Art, Conceptual Art, Critical Theory, and Modernism. Currently her scholarship centers on the social interpretation of Land Art as secularized sacred space, and the relationship between Outsider Art and the conditions of modernity. She has taught at a diverse set of institutions of higher learning including Austin Community College, Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design, Metropolitan State University of Denver, and the University of Colorado at Boulder.
