IHCPT Program
The Foundation Course:
All participants start with our Foundation Course. In
this course you will gain an understanding of the core
competencies required of integrative health coaches, the
science of behavior change, personal health planning,
the Wheel of Health, and mindful awareness. You will
learn how to incorporate these foundational elements
into coaching practices that motivate others to adopt
behaviors for optimal health. Through experiential
practice you will learn a coaching framework for use with
individuals and groups.
Foundation Course Components Include:

4 Telephonic Skills Practice Sessions
Written Examination
The Certification Course:
The Certification Course is an advanced level of training
that is open only to those who have completed our
Foundation Course.
The Certification Course is an instructor-led distance
learning course that allows participants to deepen
their coaching proficiency through skills practice,
mentored feedback, online learning modules, and video
demonstrations.
Certification Course Components Include:
8 Distance Learning Group Sessions
3 Individual Mentor Sessions
5 Web Based Trainings
8 Demonstration Videos
Documentation of 50 Professional
Coaching Sessions
Written and Oral Examination
