This document discusses forming a united front among doctors to prevent violence and reduce litigation against doctors. It proposes creating local rescue teams of 50-100 doctors who can quickly respond to violence. It also recommends increasing personal indemnity insurance, providing legal support for doctors facing litigation, and raising awareness of doctors' rights and guidelines among the medical community. The Medico Legal Foundation of Delhi has launched initiatives for doctor protection and reducing litigation by affiliating with AMC India, which provides legal assistance and indemnity insurance to its members for over 40 years.
