NURSING SKILLS (Praxis and Clinical Experience)
Monitor the progress of patients, evaluate the effectiveness of nursing interventions and
consult with appropriate members of the health care team.
Properly complete nursing assessment, including head to toe assessments.
Properly perform nursing interventions such as taking vital signs, applying aseptic techniques,
ensuring infection control, monitoring nutritional intake and conducting specimen collection.
Administer bedside and personal care to clients including aid in ambulation, and daily
personal hygiene.
Provide pre-operative and post-operative personal and comfort care, ensuring patient comfort.

Document patient care by accurately recording activities manually and electronically;
