and executive project management obtained whilst AGIP Zambia undertook an AgipPetroli
SpA directed extensive rehabilitation programme of its African Retail Network in line with
European standards.
Extensive cross energy sector knowledge in electricity, coal mining, refinery and pipeline
transportation utilities acquired whilst providing technical support as part of the after sales
service of supply contracts.
Extensive contract negotiating experience acquired whilst successfully tendering for major
supply contracts and evaluating importation, equipment installation and company capital
investment project and rehabilitation contracts.
In depth utility privatisation experience acquired through serving as Vice Chairman for the
Negotiating Team of the ‘B’ Shareholders in the Technical Privatisation of Agip Zambia
Limited. Major tasks included coordinating the due diligence study, effecting the Business
Evaluation and Transformation Process reporting.
Energy sector restructuring experience acquired through serving on the Task Force comprising
Ministry of Energy, Oil Marketing Companies and World Bank representatives exploring the
initial steps for the restructuring and eventual liberalisation of the Zambian Petroleum Industry
sub-sector. Major tasks included due diligence study of Ndola Fuel Terminal facilities in
advance of World Bank recommended leasing to an independent operator.
Extensive copper hydrometallurgical mineral processing hands-on experience acquired whilst
working at the Tailings Leach Plant. This experience covered plant operation and supervision of
all the major hydrometallurgical circuit processes such as leaching, solvent extraction, electro
winning and dewatering. Additional experience in plant commissioning and start-up procedures
was gained during the inauguration of the third phase of the Tailings Leach Plant expansion
process (TLP3).
Extensive knowledge of Nitrogen Chemicals of Zambia (NCZ) operations acquired whilst
preparing financing proposal to NEDBANK of South Africa. The business proposal centred on
the creation of a Strategic Partnership between NCZ and Intshona Agricultural Products
Zambia Limited whose driving force was a Collateral Warehouse Management Trade Financing
Facility for the supply of raw materials.
Extensive knowledge of the international fertilizer and raw material supply chain network
acquired whilst investigating supply options for the proposed Intshona Agricultural
Products/NCZ NEDBANK financed proposed Strategic Partnership proposal. This experience
included plant visits and negotiations with RUWAIS Fertilizer of Abu Dhabi in the United Arab
Emirates, GAZAGROCHEM (a subsidiary of the GAZPROM Group) of Russia and SEMIX of
Ukraine.
Extensive knowledge of regional fertilizer market requirements and potential acquired whilst
negotiating for the East and Central African agency for the Saudi Arabian Basic Industry
Corporation (SABIC) for Synergy Commodities Zambia Limited.

2015 TODATE PROJECT: SYNERGY VENTURES INTERNATIONAL LIMITED
DESIGNATION: TEAM LEADER
Key Responsibility involves leading a team seeking to introduce off-grid Solar PV Mini-Grid
Systems as part of an integrated rural electrification programme.
The programme involves the empowerment of smallholder farmers through outgrower schemes
in the agricultural sector value chains with emphasis on cash crops such as soya beans and
groundnuts.
The project is designed with two primary envisioned objectives:
i) to support rural economic development by providing power for productive
enterprises; combined with entrepreneurial and technical support.
ii) to provide power for improving the well-being of the rural community residents.

Dana Oil Corporation Limited is the sole distributor of BP and Castrol branded lubricants in
Zambia. The distributorship contract with BP covers logistical and technical support to BP’s
consumer clients and the reseller network.
The position entailed operating as Chief Executive Officer of the organisation as well as being
the Team Leader responsible for Lubricant Technical support to consumer clients and the sales,
marketing and technical training of company personnel and contact persons where necessary.
Reporting to the Chairman and the Board of Directors, the appointment entailed responsibility for
the overall management of the company.
