 Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational
workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks;

Job duties:
 Direct contact with the foreign suppliers;
 Responsible for the timely provision of production with the materials and required
commodities;
 Maintaining records of goods ordered and received.
 Locating vendors of materials, equipment or supplies, and interview them in order
to determine product availability and terms of sales.
 Preparing and processing requisitions and purchase orders for supplies and
equipment.
 Controlling purchasing department budgets.
 Interviewing and hire staff, and oversee staff training.
 Reviewing purchase order claims and contracts for conformance to company
policy.
