North West Portfolio Coverage
We serve local communities across the North West through a
variety of channels, providing access to local information. We
have unique content created by teams of experts living in the
cities, towns and villages where we publish. Our coverage of
local stories and events is unrivalled across all media and
gives us unparalleled levels of market reach. Digital content
and services are at the heart of our strategy.
We publish 3 daily newspapers, 11 paid-for weekly titles and 3
free newspapers with readership up to 98,000 per issue (1). In
addition we also reach niche audiences through a variety of
special supplements and magazines.
We currently have 14 local news websites closely aligned to
our newspapers with unique users up to 75,000 per week (2).
We have also launched iPad apps to further increase audience
engagement.
Our vertical digital brands Find it and jobstoday are partnered
with market leaders (Scoot and Jobsite) to provide online
platforms of growing significance, and our property listings
offering is supported by key market player Zoopla. We also
operate DealMonster, a daily deal discount offering.
