I earned my first A.A. degree in 1996, and a second A.A. in 2003. I am now working on a B.A. in biological anthropology, and I will have the degree completed by the spring of 2016. While earning these degrees, I delivered newspapers and telephone books; sold newspaper subscriptions through telemarketing; picked blueberries; and taught rock and mineral identification to other students. In 2002, I was hired as a part time, seasonal cashier at Walmart. This position led to a full time position as a cashier; full time sales associate for the shoe department; and finally to the freight coordinator for the shoe department.
