9. Contingency Planning
Potential Issue Solution
One of the models couldn’t make it. Do it with the models that have came rather
than having the exact idea in the mock-up.
Lighting isn’t working. Use natural lighting but on a cloudy day to
somehow achieve the same effect.
The photo doesn’t look right. Practice shots to figure out which angle is best
Not meeting the deadline. Create a plan and stick to it, making sure to
meet the deadline.
Photo goes blurry when resizing it. Make sure that the picture size is the same size
of the project file.
Original idea not going to plan and is too
complexed to complete in the deadline.
Create a simpler idea for a backup.
10. Health and Safety

Wires to either the lighting or the camera being
in peoples’ ways and they could trip
Be sure to trail the wires away from where
people are walking or standing.
Someone touches the bulb in the lighting Put a warning sign on the stand so people can
see that the bulb can get hot.
In the middle of editing the project but the
application crashes.
Make sure to save after any major edits and
when taking breaks.
Getting stressed because the project isn’t going
to meet the deadline.
Make a plan and stick by it, making sure to
follow it so that the project will be completed
before the deadline.
Spilling liquids over the work area, causing the
equipment to break.
Refrain from having any food or drinks near the
workspace.
Computer freezing and/or overheating causing
a fire risk.
Turn off equipment when finished with it. Don’t
leave it on standby or plugged in.
