LAUREN GUYMER, REPORTER:
Toowoomba’s existing range crossing has been
rated as one of the worst performing sections of
road in Queensland, subject to frequent road
closures and significant delays. With traffic
incidents doubling since 2010, the Toowoomba
Second Range Crossing is a high priority now more
than ever.

IAN MACFARLANE, MEMBER FOR GROOM:
The Queensland Government has confirmed that
the Second Range Crossing is in their top three
infrastructure priorities. Once this project is

LAUREN GUYMER, REPORTER:
Not only will the Second Range Crossing improve
driver safety, reduce delays and ensure freight
efficiencies, it will increase economic activity
within the Toowoomba region by $2.4 billion and
provide more than 1800 full time equivalent jobs
during the three year construction phase.

COUNCILLOR GEOFF MCDONALD:

LAUREN GUYMER, REPORTER:
The Second Range Crossing will provide
