System (LMS) that allows istudents to access
online including:

COLLABORATE?
⢠Blackboard Collaborate is a web conferencing
system that works seamlessly with eCampus
(Blackboard Learn) to conduct online,
interactive meetings.
⢠The system has audio, video, recording, and
whiteboard capabilities.

GRADEBOOK
View Grades from eCampus Home Page
1. Log into http://ecampus.tamu.edu
2. In the Tools module select My Grades
3. You will be brought to the My Grades page to view
your course grades.
5. SUBMIT AN ASSIGNMENT
1. Log into eCampus, and access your course.
2. Locate the assignment and click on it.
3. On the Upload Assignment page, use Browse My Computer to
upload a file, or use the Write Submission to write your
assignment.
4. Click Save Draft if you would like to save and complete later,
or Submit to officially submit the assignment.
NOTE: If you save as draft the assignment will not automatically
submit on the due date. You need to select submit.
6. TAKING A EXAM OR QUIZ
Instructors can use eCampus to host various types
of tests, quizzes, and surveys for their class.
Students are advised to verify a reliable internet
connection before taking an online exam.
If you experience any problems during an exam please
contact your instructor to let them know, then
contact Help Desk Central at 979.854.8300.
7. INSTRUCTIONS
1. Log into eCampus. Access the course the exam is being held in.
2. Locate the exam inside the course, and select it. If you are unable to find
the exam please contact your instructor.
3. On the Instructions page, read any provided instructions, once you are
ready to begin select Begin.
4. Instructors are given multiple options when setting up an exam such as,
viewing only one question per page, do not allow back tracking, and view all
questions at once, so your exams may appear differently by course. Answer
questions by selecting the answer, then selecting Save Answer.
5. When an answer has been saved, you will see a check mark next to the
word saved at the top right of the question
6. Once you have answered all of the questions select Save and Submit, if
you select Save All Answers your answers will be saved, however your exam
will not be submitted.
8. USING DISCUSSION
BOARDS
⢠eCampus contains a Discussion Board tool that allows
instructors and students to communicate with each other
through Forums. Forums are main topics for discussion created
by the instructor.
⢠Forums are filled with related sub-topics, or Threads, that can be
created by the instructor or students. If you have any questions
about creating threads please contact Instructional Technology

9. CREATE A DISCUSSION
BOARD THREAD
1. Access the Discussion Board, and select the desired forum. If you
are unable to locate the Discussion Board please contact
your instructor.
2. On the action bar, click Create Thread.
NOTE: Instructors can create discussion boards in
multiple different ways, if you do not have the option to
create a thread please contact your instructor.
3. On the Create Thread page, type a descriptive subject for the
thread in the Subject text box. Optionally, type a message for the
thread in the Message text box.
4. In the Attachments section, attach files by selecting Browser My
Computer or Browse Content Collection.
10. REPLYING TO A DISCUSSION
BOARD THREAD
1. Access the Discussion Forum, and select the desired thread.
2. On the desired post select Reply. You can also
select Quote if you would like a copy of the post in the reply.
3. Enter your reply in the Message text area. Use the Browse
My Computer link to attach files if necessary.
