dis tribution centers. Core areas of responsibility included: HVAC, Hos pitality, Healthcare, and Plumbing. The
following goals were achieved :
Im plemented a consolidation of import vendors out of China for 20 warehouses. This led to a decrease in
inventory being held in the US from China, thus leading to higher yearly turns.
Created an onboarding and forecasting process for new Hospitality customers. These were $8-10M yearly
s pend customers.
Im plemented a yearly HVAC pre s easonal buy in, on average about $8M, to ensure customer s atisfaction
during peak purchasing s eason.
Ensured inventory needs were consistentlymetby improving and developing inventory managementprocesses and
procedures. Overall yearly turns were four and fill rates were 98.8%.
Created production forecasts and plans based on sales forecasts,historical usage and producttrends.
Established and implemented just-in-time inventoryand stocking level program thatdecreased hazardous inventoryin
warehouses with limited hazardous storage. Averaged a $1 million decrease.
