3. Sakto ba kini?
a) Ang paghukom naay labaw sa usa ka pulong (A sentence has
more than one word in it.)
b) Ang paghukom kay dapat gyud mahuman sa tuldok (A
sentence must end with a period.)
c) Ang paghukom kay dili makita basta basta (A sentence is
unusual to see.)

14. Paghukom
o Sentence - a set of words that is complete in itself, typically
containing a subject and predicate, conveying a statement, question,
exclamation, or command, and consisting of a main clause and
sometimes one or more subordinate clauses.
The basic parts of a sentence are the subject, the verb, and (often, but
not always) the object. The subject is usually a noun — a word that
names a person, place, or thing. The verb (or predicate) usually follows
the subject and identifies an action or a state of being. An object
receives the action and usually follows the verb.

a) Nikatawa si Judy (Judy laughed.)
b) Nidagan sila Max ug Rudy (Max and Rudy ran.)
c) Nagbasa si Levin ug libro samtang si Ian gadagan-dagan (Levin reads a
book while Ian runs around.)
