Laeeth Isharc graduated with an MA in Economics from Trinity College, Cambridge, where his particular interests were the economics of monetary equilibrium and Hayek’s theory of the business cycle. He started his career in 1996 as an interest rate exotics trader in London working with the former O’Connor group then recently acquired by SBC Warburg, before moving on to run the Japan Rate Strategy for D.E. Shaw NY. Following D.E. Shaw he joined Citadel in London, where he was co-head of the fixed income group in London.
